Clayton's Birthday

Wow, I can't believe we have an 8 year old. I am so proud of him and love every minute of with him. He is growing up to be such a great kid.
For his birthday we took him to The Rain Forest Cafe where he got the Volcano dessert and they sang to him.

Then we came home, opened presents, and blow out candles. We were all too full to eat any more cake, but of course Clayton had to take a bite out of the cake. (That is something he has done every year starting at age 1).

Then we got a call from Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Julie, Auntie Laura and Cousin Evan. They made a cake and had a celebration for Clayton in Utah. They even had to take the bite out of the cake. Clayton loved it!

At the end of the night Clayton came up to me and Chris, gave us a hug and kiss, and said, "Thank you Mom and Dad, this day couldn't be any better." Dang, I love this kid! Happy Birthday Buddy!

How funny...I like that big bite out of the cake tradition!!! He's got some pretty cool aunts too...let us know when you come to Utah to visit so we can all get together.
